Job Description Our client based in Centurion requires the skills of a Project Manager Level 2
The Project Manager (level 2) is responsible for the leading, planning, directing and implementation of projects following the project methodology and standards.

Project Management Duties:
• To receive concurrent projects from the Business Development team under guidance of the PMO Manager
• Responsibility for the delivery of projects, in accordance with the agreed methodology, using initiative, commercial drive and tenacity with internal and external stakeholders.
• To facilitate and accurately document the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables
• To accurately define project schedule
• To accurately manage project budget
• Keeping of accurate, organised records of all aspects of the project providing a complete audit trail of decisions, projects progress sign-offs and caveats.
• Responsibility for the accurate identification and management of project risks and issues according to Methodology.
• To effectively track project deliverables using appropriate tools and ensuring client sign off at each identified stage of the project
• Ensuring appropriate communication to all stakeholders including constant feedback of project progress.
• To provide Quality Assurance checks on all project deliverables before submission to clients
• Conduct project evaluations and assessments of results

Financial Management Duties:
• Record the project ‘actuals' in the appropriate tracking mechanisms to enable early detection of issues, ensuring corrective action and escalation where appropriate
• Ensure timeous submission of project team members' delivery notes, vet same against project schedule and budget and capture in appropriate recording mechanisms in accordance with accounting methods
• Receive client invoices from finance team and vet against project budgets schedules before release to client
• Act as communication anchor regarding finance matters ensuring open communication between client and Finance Department

Management Feedback Duties:
• Actively participate in the weekly resource meetings according to Methodology
• Proactively escalate project issues, risks to project sponsor, PMO manager and Account manager
• Provide in-time comprehensive reports defining project progress, problems and solutions

Stakeholder management Duties:
• Assemble and coordinate project team and provide direction and support to team members
• Produce weekly status report packs and ensure distribution to all stakeholders
• Actively share relevant information with business pertaining to the project delivery activities executed within the program of works.
• Establish and leverage a network across all disciplines within the project delivery chain.

KPI's (Outputs)
1. Effectively initiate projects according to the Methodology within 3 days of Sales notification.
2. Effectively define your project by drafting project charter, roles and responsibilities and high level communication plan and obtain sign-off from project sponsor
3. Accurately plan the project by producing, and keeping up to date, a project schedule, budget and resource plan and obtain signoff as stipulated.
4. Actively draft a risk matrix including mitigating action where needed and escalate timeously
5. Accurately produce project management deliverables, as defined by Project Methodology, and obtain signoff as specified.
6. Actively manage delivery notes of project resources as specified within the Financial Governance framework.
7. Effectively monitor and control projects according to the PM Methodology.
8. Ensure appropriate signoff and project close-out activities are conducted according to the PM Methodology
9. Attend and actively participate in the weekly Resource meetings and provide management feedback.

• Excellent command of both spoken and written English language
• Excellent command of MS Office applications (especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint and EPM 2007)
• Must be EPM Certified
• Excellent command of Project Management methods
• Good accounting skills and knowledge of general accounting standards and practices
